Lauren Bohaboy
So Cal Blues-Dodge GU-16
Scored four goals in the first game of preliminary play at the Far West Regionals in Lancaster. Bohaboy’s offensive outburst led to a 7-0 victory over a team from Idaho. She added another goal in the second game, a 6-0 romp, over a team from Oregon.
Christian Carillo
West Coast FC BU-13
Carillo ironed out a hat trick in West Coast’s 6-0 victory over the Arizona Blackhawks in the second round of pool play of the Far West Regionals Tuesday in Lancaster. Carillo also recorded an assist on another goal.
Alexis Cohea
CFC United GU-17
Cohea scored four goals, best on the team along with Courtney Garrity, to help her CFC United GU-17 team to the Presidents Cup Region IV title in Tri-Cities, Wash. Her last goal was the eventual game-winner in the championship game.
Mario Cruz
Los Alamitos Titans BU-14s
Cruz fired two goals to help hand Los Alamitos a 4-1 victory over the Montana Avalanche in the Region IV final of the U.S. Youth Soccer Presidents Cup Sunday in Tri-Cities, Wash. The Titans cruise to the Presidents Cup finals next month in Raleigh, N.C.
Allison Lu
FC Blades GU-9 Red
Lu totaled two goals in a against NHB, leading the way for the Blades to claim the RSM Summer Classic crown for the team’s first-ever tournament title.
Boo Simonian
Mission Viejo SC GU-12
Simonian led her team with six goals, including a hat trick against FC Manchester United, as her team won all three games by a combined 17-1 total in the RSM Summer Classic.
Emily Tearjen
Canyon PSA GU-8 Red
Tearjen nailed a goal in the first half to help Canyon PSA hold on for a 1-1 tie in the opening game of the RSM Summer Classic last weekend. The tie was a stepping stone for the team to reach the consolation final.
